Currently based in Ravensburg

Hallo, I am Michelle. I did my PhD in Prof. Roger Foo’s group at the Cardiovascular Research Institute at the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. My project focused on utilising high and low-throughput methodologies to screen and identify cardiac-specific enhancers in vivo, mainly working with adeno-associated viruses. Currently, I’m an International Trainee in New Business Development at Vetter Pharma, where I experience different departments, and develop a greater understanding of the business side of drug development.

My scientific interests lie in developing and utilising organoids to model disease and develop novel therapeutics. I am interested in gene therapy, and the ever-important question of improving the specificity of therapeutics.
